Description
An automatic valve with a 3/4 inch BSP Female thread to ensure your irrigation system is drained after each watering cycle.
Small, simple and economical. A sturdy spring mechanism keeps the valve open until water pressure is applied. When water pressure enters the system, the valve is forced shut so no water can escape. Once the water supply is stopped and water pressure drops below 2.5 PSI (0.17 Bar), the valve reopens, allowing the irrigation system to drain.
Some benefits of using a Flush Valve:
Prolonged dripping from watering devices is avoided
Mineral build up / Clogged emitters is inhibited
Frost damage during the winter months is prevented
This valve also serves as an air relief valve, expelling air while the system fills with water.
A small investment in a flush valve can pay big dividends in preventing problems in future.
